THE PRESIDENT

2008
I'd once again like to thank everyone who voted for me for President
of this great organization. I will work hard for both the grounds and
for members.Ê
We have paid $30,000 on the loan for the new acreage; which leaves us
a balance of just about $21,000.00 until paid in full.Ê
The board wanted to make sure that the organization was able to make
a few improvements, have money to pay on the loan, and also pay some
of the requiredÊexpenses for the reunions.
The organization has achieved that goal.Ê Ê
We are looking to have a great time at Firebase Kokomo (formerly the
"June Mini-Reunion") June 6, 7, & 8. The traveling wall will be here
for the whole reunion.Ê
There will also be a dunking tank here for everyone to enjoy.Ê The Board
will take turns being "targets" along with other volunteers.Ê Ê We will
have food vendors here, a few merchandise vendors, free camping and
we know we will all be amazed, as usual by the entertainment program
put together by Jim Murray.
