Howard County Vietnam Veterans Organization
Almighty and gracious God, we commend
to your care and safe keeping all the
men and women that serve in our armed forces, as they defend our freedoms.
Protect them day by day with Your Devine grace; encourage them when they are weak and strengthen them in their times of trials.
When their way becomes dark, as it sometimes will, let the LIGHT of Your presence shine brightly to become the LIGHT unto their pathway.
Keep them safe from all hidden dangers, seen and unseen.
Keep them and their loves ones safe from all harm and deadly diseases.
Shield and shelter them under Your loving arms, and let Your faithful promises be their armor of protection.
This we ask in the name of Jesus the Christ. Amen!
"To all who enter this field; This is not a fighting field...it is a healing field!".....

Reunion News
I would like to let the membership know what we are doing for the veterans. At Christmas we helped a Veteran's family. The father came back from Iraq and his job was gone. He has a wife and five kids! What a blessing it was to help them.
We also helped a family that had a house fire and lost everything. The wife as in Afghanistan. She got to come home for a few days, then, had to go back. They have 4 kids. Please keep them in your prayers. We have had a coat driver for the half way houses we sponsor. Thanks for all of you support as this turned out very good.

We are working very hard to get a half way house for veterans here in Kokomo. Hopefully this will be operational by sometime this summer. We need your prayers for this project.

This summer we will be working hard to help Vietnam and all Desert Storm forward veterans that need help I have been doing counseling with them and their families. The jobless rate for these veterans is higher than the national average. At one time when vets came back from war looking for a job, they were put at the front of the line. Not so now. Things have changed. We need your prayers for these vets that have served their country and deserve a job.

Below is a schedule for our trips to VA Marion IN this year. If you would like to volunteer on one or more of these, please come along, we could use your help. God Bless you.
