FROM THE PRESIDENT
I wish to thank all the volunteers who worked
diligently to make the June Mini-reunion a
success. We have completed the trenching
and laid the drainage tiles on the grounds.
So far, it seems to be working very well.
We have also planted an additional 300 white pine saplings
which were donated. You will notice a new look to the inside
of Beers R Us, otherwise known as the beer barn.
The organization has purchased a working cooler, so the
volunteers hopefully will not have to work out of the horse
troughs anymore.
We are now in the final stages of planning for the 25th
Annual Vietnam Veterans reunion this September. A
reminder to those who plan on attending, that the official
opening is on Thursday this year, due to all we needed
to get worked into our schedule. You will want to reserve
your golf carts with this in mind. We have many special
events scheduled. We will have a static display of a huey
and one huey which had flown in Vietnam will be flying
in and landing. Parachutists will also be landing on the
grounds of HCVVVO.
Make your plans now to attend.
Your President,
Dennis Crouse
